Description of Service

PlayProbe is a playtesting platform for game developers and testers. We provide free and paid plans, with feature access depending on your selected plan.

Accounts

  • You must be at least 16 years old to create an account.
  • You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure.
  • Each person may maintain one account.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to use PlayProbe to:

  • Collect data from minors without appropriate legal consent.
  • Spam testers or misuse messaging features.
  • Distribute malware or harmful content through game links.
  • Reverse engineer, probe, or disrupt the platform.
  • Violate applicable laws or regulations.

Developer Responsibilities

You retain ownership of the games and test content you submit. You are responsible for ensuring your game links and materials are lawful, and you must not mislead testers about the nature of the game or test.

Data Protection and the DPA

When you run a test or integrate the PlayProbe Unity SDK, we process personal data belonging to your testers and players on your behalf. For that data you are the data controller and we act as your processor. Our Data Processing Agreement forms part of these Terms and applies automatically — you do not need to sign a separate document.

You are responsible for having a lawful basis to collect data from your testers and players, for telling them that PlayProbe is used, and for honouring their data rights.

Tester Responsibilities

Tester feedback should be honest and submitted in good faith. Testers must not share confidential game content unless the developer has explicitly made that content public.

Paid plans are billed monthly through Stripe. You may cancel at any time, and access continues through the end of the current billing period. Outside the statutory withdrawal right described below, we do not provide refunds for partial months. We may update pricing with 30 days notice.

Right of Withdrawal (Consumers)

If you are a consumer in the European Union, you normally have 14 days to withdraw from a distance contract without giving a reason.

PlayProbe is supplied as digital content that becomes available immediately. When you subscribe, we ask you to expressly request that we start providing the service straight away and to acknowledge that, once we have fully performed, you lose your right of withdrawal. You give that confirmation with a tick box at checkout; if you do not tick it, we cannot start the subscription immediately.

If you have not given that confirmation, or within 14 days for any part of the service we have not yet supplied, you may withdraw by sending a clear statement to [email protected]. We refund all payments received within 14 days of being informed, using the same payment method you used. Where you asked us to begin during the withdrawal period, we may charge a proportionate amount for what was supplied before you withdrew.

This section applies to consumers only. It does not apply where you subscribe in the course of a business, trade, or profession.

Screen Recordings

Screen recordings are retained for 30 days and are accessible only to the developer who ran the test. Developers must not publish or publicly share recordings without tester consent.

Intellectual Property

PlayProbe and its platform technology are owned by Jakub Gabčo, trading as Drages Studio. You retain ownership of your game content and feedback data. We do not claim ownership rights over either.

Limitation of Liability

PlayProbe is provided on an as-is basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Our total liability is capped at the fees paid by you in the three months before the event giving rise to the claim.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. You may stop using PlayProbe and delete your account at any time.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by Czech law, and disputes are subject to the courts of Czechia. If you are a consumer, this choice of law does not deprive you of the protection of mandatory consumer rules in your country of residence.

Dispute Resolution

Please contact us first at [email protected] — most issues are resolved quickly that way.

If you are a consumer and we cannot resolve a dispute directly, you have the right to out-of-court dispute resolution. The competent body in Czechia is the Czech Trade Inspection Authority (Česká obchodní inspekce), Štěpánská 796/44, 110 00 Prague 1 — adr.coi.cz. Using this procedure is free of charge for you and does not affect your right to go to court.
